Coba, real name KOBAYASHI Yasuhiro, is a famous accordionist who graduated from the Luciano Fancelli Conservatorio of Venice in 1980 and won many international accordion contests. He has a strong interest for Italy and also France, which reflects in his music.

Since his first album "SICILIA no tsuki no shita de" released in 1991, he has released over 20 albums and mini-albums/EPs. He has also worked with many Shibuya-kei related artists such as Kahimi Karie, Chocolat and Pizzicato Five.

In 1995, he toured with Bjork in over 60 countries, giving him wider international exposure.
