Denki Groove

Denki Groove is the techno unit of ISHINO Takkyu and Pierre TAKI (both nicknames), formed in 1989 as a follow-up to new wave joke band Zin-say!. Denki Groove's music mixes techno with rap, pop music and comedy, and Takkyu's nasal vocals have an important place in their unique sound. Previously, the unit also featured members CMJK and SUNAHARA Yoshinori.

In 2005, after several years without an original release, Denki Groove joined forces with one of Japan's most important rap groups for the time of an album released as Denki Groove X Scha Dara Parr.
